The Second Hacked Plane Hit the Pentagon
First Lieutenant Heather Penny watched the second hijacked plane hit the World Trade Center. She was with the D.C. Air National Guard at Andrews Air Force Base just miles away from the Pentagon. They were ready to take off, but they never heard from the FAA or regional air defenses who were tasked with scrambling our nation's fighters. In fact, NORAD didn't even know they were there.
