Abortion Rights
Abortion rights are essentially an individual right, which the left has repudiated in every other area of its policy programme. And so when they try to defend the idea that woman has the right to abortion to pursue her own happiness, they don't have a moral premise from which to reason. The fact that it's now been repealed because of that concession is, i think, not a big surprise. My optimism comes from the fact thaf there have not been good arguments that the public has really beenex s to. I'm expecting not to be very impressed by the descents, but we'll see.
