The Importance of Digital ID in the CBDC
The UN has been pretty explicit about this. They had a working paper that called the people's money. And they also tie that explicitly to the sustainable development goals, which broadly speaking, or part of agenda 2030. So it's very plausible too that when the CBDC is rolled out in order to access it, you'll have to prove it's really you and what better way to do that than the digital ID?
