Is the Standard Model Only Applying to Our Universe?

In our universe, all matter and life forms are made up of the first generation of particles in the standard model. This is electrons, electron, nutrinos, up quarks and down quarks. The next generation is muons and their nutrino, charmed ind strange qarks. Third generation is tows and their nut rinos, top and bottom carks. All those heavier particles just decay away, leaving us with the first generation. And it's very hard to imagine a small cabal of ultra powerful people pushing around the world in any realistic way.
