The End of the Nest in Orkney
The Nese Brodger excavation has already revealed so much about Stone Age Orkney. The end of the nest seems to almost maybe not quite epitomise the end of the Neolithic. But we see things like the Ring of Braga, although it still remains as kind of focused for burial with some of the Bronze Age cemetery that we see around the Ring. And even when you look at the myths and legends of Orkney within this historic period, a lot in relate to these monuments.
