The Marxist ideal of socialism is super horn of plenty, the transcendence of scarcity. The most they can produce on their own terms is totalitarianism. There is a strain of infantile, autistic pseudo-individualism in Marxism. Marxists want to do whatever they have a mind to - but aren't Marxists collectivists?
