Kamari: The show was about a lot more than that. It's about coming of age, chosen family, honoring your parents. Part of the show takes place when Zilow is an adult at their commitment ceremony to their then partner. So there's all this drama and conflict and love that comes with bringing your big Sri Lankan family to a very queer and trans situation.
