The Moses Illusion
Moses illusion is related of course to recall by association through the idea of context and sense making. When we hear a small amount of information we automatically construct a whole idea around it even though we have very little information with which to do so. This kind of cognitive bias might be called jumping to conclusions but you could also call it neglect of ambiguity. An excellent example of this in linguistics is the sentence time flies like an arrow. There are five or six ways of understanding this sentence that might strike you as strange how is that possible let me give you at least a few examples from this sentence.
