RiverFolk - The Coolest Thing Ever
The best times to recruit are when you're either a little overfed or can guarantee that another sale or two is coming your way. Recruiting has a lot of value, but can get you into trouble if the table denies you funds right after you recruit. By early game, you can get a lot of long-term value out of recruiting twice instead of building a trade post. We will later talk about the idea of fishing through the entire deck, looking for specific cards.
