The Power of Specificity in Compliments
With positive comments well with all feedback but specificity can really it tells them because the feedback is always going to come through your personal point of view. It gives them some sort of map to where you're coming from so if you're like this line really made me laugh loved it like that then they can be like cool so that line worked for them as a laugh line or this moment really surprised me and it made me rethink what the scene was about. So those specificities can also help challenge a person without you saying oh I think you meant to write this but you did something else. One of the best kind of like not directly a compliment but feedback that you and we ever got about Night Vale
