Seeds are really cool, i had so much fun researching for this episode because, like, ah, they're just amazing. I used to joke that i was a seed whisperer when i was taking botany in underground, because i was really good at identifying seeds. During the cretaceous, once angeosperms started to really diversify, they shifted from having primarily very small seeds to every kind of seed we've ever made. The bigger the seed, the fewer seeds t you can have per flour. Bigger seeds have an advantage in low like conditions. So if you are starting with more food, you an survive if you can't make it with light.
