When I first read the neoclassical stuff, I was in shock. 87% of the economy won't be affected because it's under a roof. Anything we do today to mitigate climate change is sacrificing our well-being for a richer future. And that would be stupid. Why should we sacrifice for people who will be richer and better off than us? We should do nothing. John: What are the scariest things about this assumption of exponential growth going on forever?

She is also Professor of Practice at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. She is a member of the Club of Rome and currently serves on the World Health Organisation Council on the Economics of Health for All.
