The Importance of Fair Rules-Based Immigration
People want a set of rules that are implemented fairly, says Professor Ford. The share of voters saying they were worried about immigration fell after the EU referendum. People consistently say what they want to see is a fair rules-based system. But having said that, Professor Ford admits most people will say numbers coming in are too high.
