The Most Important Thing to Do Is to Have Quick Decisions
Google adopted a model of stafping on monday, a business meeting on wednesday and a product meeting on friday. This was organized so that people could travel in the right ways. Eric took some radical steps to keep ideas flowing within the organization. He granted employees the freedom not only to choose their project, but openly defined their managers along the way. Google famously instituted a rule that any employee could devote 20 % of their work week to any project they'd like.
