Red Guardian: A Simple Man and a Simple Mom

I like the fact that Red Guardian at the dinner table admits that he's a simple man and he has no arc really. He connects with his emotions more as a story. I mean, the mom is basically critiquing everybody about whether they've gotten soft. And like pain makes you stronger is like a through line. But I don't know if they changed. Sadly, it's more like the things that need fixing change, butlike the person doesn't change.
