Queequeg wrote his last will and testament on a whaleman's boat. He said: 'I suppose then that going plump on a flying whale with your sail set in a foggy squall is the height of a whalemen's discretion' Queequeg also claimed to have lowered for whales from a leaking ship in a gale off cape horn. The story was told by an oarsman called Mister flask, who later died at sea.
