The Importance of Reading in Foreign Languages

In college, i got a box of flash cards from barnes anoble that had one thousand spanish vocabulary words. And when i arrived on the trip, i could speak sp Spanish. It was quite poorly spoken, but i could communicate in most cases. I'm now glad for that experience because it's given me a greater amount of sympathy for people who are not readers. S really, really frustrating to read a book and in every paragraph encounter three or four words that you don't understand. N that's something id never struggled with in english.
