The New Covenant Promise Is a Gift of the Holy Spirit

The new covenant in jesus promises that god would put his laws in our minds and them on our hearts. The prophet ezekiel announces a similar new covenant promise. It's significant because it speaks about our status before god and each other. This is what makes the new covenant so much better than the old. Instead of breeding this external religion, the new covenant bears and breeds heart change and a genuine relationship and love for god.
