Will Faster Than Light Travel Ever Happen?

It's possible that we will at one point have faster than light travel. One of the most promising ways was inspired by star track. The way it works is by taking the space in front of a spaceship and compressing it, while simultaneously taking the space behind the ship and expanding it. And so it is thought that this could actually work, if we can find the right kind of energy to do it with.
