I think at the moment, the ratio of research that enhances capabilities in AI versus trying to steer them and align them is something like 101. I mean, you could imagine a failure scenario where almost all of it ends up being co-opted for capabilities research anyway. And again, that goes back to relationships. How do you tell an agency what this appropriation is actually for? So that's about getting congressional support to do the thing you want it to do as opposed to doing the thing you don't want it todo.
