Is It Really Necessary to Say That Rolled Dahl Is Ugly?
Netflix bought the rights to Rolled Dahl for 370 million pounds. I would imagine they'd want to avoid anything that could cause offence. Pullman's sort of saying, yes, Lee's leave the Dahl books as they are. So people will be offended and they'll eventually fade away. And they'll find there are lots of fantastic new authors.
