The Importance of Ethnicity in Christianity
Is Christianity universalistic? Traditionally, you'd be hard pressed to do so, I think. No one would say that. It would be absurd. The whole point in the context of Christianity was that Jesus was Jewish and that the Roman Empire would perceive as the big baddies by the Jews. That's the whole point. And so, European man who all this time had been reaching out to find God, to search for the Logos is a little bit more ticnic than any other group in the world.
