Researchers in Poland have found evidence that late Neolithic peoples were making cheese from the milk of several different animals as long ago as sixth millennium BCE. This may help explain why there's so much evidence of people consuming milk during a time when virtually all adults were lactose intolerant. In our last little bit of dairy news, Chinese scientists have found evidence of milk being consumed and stored in Tibet as long as 3000 years ago.
