Alcohol and Caffeine - The Principal Cause of Insomnia

If the first thing you touch in the morning is your phone and not your partner, you're in trouble. Caffeine has a half life of about six hours and a quarter life of 12 hours. We are a doctor private society. We need that darkness at night. Try to stay away from screens in the last hour before bed,. Also dimming down the lights in your home by 50%. You'll be surprised at how soparific that actually is. And there's something so sublime about just going into a state of sort of non technologically invaded consciousness in the first five or 10 minutes.
