The Ascetic for the Greeks Is a Harbinger of Truth
The wisest were always the most marginal in Greek society. The christians would allow for an ascetic to sortof be a harbinger of truth that would not be from the untouchable class. Bo tries to bring an the kind of mendicant you no interest in making the wise one the poor one, yes? It's as though everything is evolutionarily, collectively moving towards it. And so it's all this is why they argue it's not enough t just make everything preedible,. like it's going to lead up to it, as though it were a foregone conclusion.
