I feel like a lot of the web tools out there have come full circle. I used front page quite a bit when I was starting, but now you have re-tool and stuff like that. You go from like these very wissy-weight technologies to really complex and then back again. It's still very difficult to get into the industry, I believe, but it's easier in a way.
In this episode of The State of Developer Education, Jon speaks with Jamie Barton, Senior Developer Relations at Grafbase, an organization that accelerates backend development with next-generation tooling. He is also a Full-Stack Developer at Launchmade Web Services and an Educator at The Guild Software. Previously, he was the Senior Developer Relations at GraphCMS and Organizer at GraphQL Conf.
Their conversation delves into Jamie's personal journey into tech, his experience working at the Apple Genius Bar, and the importance of developer success and authentic marketing. They also delve into the impact of GraphQL in the tech ecosystem.
