Dogs Can Detect Covid in Socks
Marlowe was taking part in double blind tests, which meant even the dog handler didn't know which were the coved samples. It was all part of a big clinical trial in partnership with durham university and the london school of hygiene and tropical medicine. If they proved dogs could reliably ot covid in samples of socks, they could then move on to try and detect covid on people. The best dog was up to 94 % reliable. And that is an incredible result. They were also able to correctly identify when somebody was healthy. So even if they had perhaps toms of other conditions, perhaps a cold, and stage two is now looking at sniffing it on a person
