The Pilots Didn't Know What They Were Doing
Flight six five five deviated about 100 nautical miles north of the direct course of its destination. The crew possessed both current and forecast of weather information before they ed el dorado. Captain did not inform the despatcher of his intentions to deviate from the flight plan nor co ordinate the deviations with him. There was no evidence that the captain was concerned about his position or track over the ground. Pilot: "They just ignored all the tools that they had available to them"
