A History of the Heart by O.M Hoistad

In the previous episode, we focused on some various traditions of heart removal in ancient Egyptian religion and in a Mesoamerican context. In this edition, we're going to be looking at some Norse traditions of the heart. And I found a really great book that I used in putting this section together. It's called A History of the Heart by O.M. Hoistad of Telmark University College in Norway.
