Bing is basically ripping off the information from stack overflow and people don't even need to visit stack overflow anymore. If they made money out of advertising, presumably they won't for much longer. So this is a new type of technology which has no friction with the legal landscape whatsoever. And it's been done so quickly that they just hovered up all of this data. Nobody said anything about it. These models are out in the open now. We need to balance the need for personalization and machine learning systems with the risk of reinforcing existing patterns and hindering growth. There seems like a fundamental challenge that.
