The Social Model's Recognition of Social Responsibility

Hearing is only a disability in this hypothetical as a result of the way society is. Some disabilities would outright make a society where they're possessed by the super-majority impossible, like quadriplegia and extreme schizophrenia. Others might not offer much disadvantage to those without them if they were the minority. Whether the approach is infrastructural or medical in nature, either way the responsibility to accommodate falls on society's shoulders at large.
