What Was Your First Few Days in the United States Like?
In those days, you could do fundamentally everything that you could think of without requiring ID as long as you had cash. So I could walk on a plane, I paid for ticketing cash and flow to New York. There was no security. You could get a hotel room, you didn't have to show ID. It was a completely different world in those days. The two documents that were key were the driver's license and the Social Security card.
