Introduction
Haggai and Zechariah are contemporary with the events that happen in Ezra and Nehemiah. Haggai is going to give a prophetic message to his listeners: We need to start building the temple again. The temple is of preeminent importance and they must get it built. This is a very applicable time period in our lives. If we're going to come out of the apostasy and be the Latter-day Saints that build Zion, we have to make sure we've got our priorities straight.
