EPO Repair in Preterm Infants - What's the Evidence Showing?
There were no significant differences between groups for IVH complications, including post hemorrhagic hydrocephalus or diffuse and cystic PVL. They did find that babies who had received EPO actually had a higher hematocrit. The authors seem to be a bit skeptical as to whether this will hold true. So yeah, I dose EPO is not is not here to stay.
