Sunami Waves - What Are They?

Sunamis can travel at speeds 500 miles, or 805 kilometers an hour. 99% of all people who die from asunami are within a hundred and 60 miles of its origin. A common misconception that sunamis come in one big wave is actually what i always thought. But they come in multiple waves, and sometimes the biggest wave is not the first one. All that water moves pretty fast, and it can flood an entire region in minutes.
