The President's Use of the Pardon Power

The president, unless he is removed or temporarily replaced under the 25th Amendment, has 14 days where he has access to the pardon power. I am relatively concerned that one thing you may see is a blanket amnesty kind of pardon for everybody involved. The more interesting scenario involving the pardons, of course, is if, in fact, he is removed from power,. Does Vice President Pence pardon him as president in order to effectively keep the situation from getting worse after January 20th? That's an open question.
