The Importance of VHS in the 90s
I used to watch movies three times a week in the QFT, because I had friends who worked there. But I was watching stuff like Man By Its Dogs and Reservoir Dogs and Paris, Texas,. which is my favorite film ever. It's showing different types of tone and that maybe a film can be slower and paced a bit. And even if you put the temp soundtrack down and then you can animate to that or beat it out, at least when you're doing the original music it can go to the same tempo.
