The Effects of Social Media on Teens

APA recently conducted some focus groups with parents and teens asking them about social media. Parents were more worried about their kids being bullied online, while the kids were concerned about how social media use might affect their futures. Rates of suicide unfortunately are higher among boys than they are among girls. But overall, I actually don't think we know that social media is worse for girls.
