The History of David Bradford
David Bradford was forced to flee his home, leaving his family behind. The reason for this was because he was involved in the whiskey rebellion. In 1796, he purchased 600 acres of land and a year later, he built a modest eight room home. He lived there until about 1799, which is when he received a pardon from President John Adams.
