Is There a Discussion on the Use of Algorithms to Debias?

i was just about some of the important reporting that has happened here in the united states about how algorithms can entrench biases and exasperate inequities. Do you know, is there any discussion going on in the security world ore thinking about the use of algorithms to de bias these even on china's own terms? I don't know if it's occurring in this context. Think they they feel as though the end mel really justify the means. They rly think of it as a worse base.
