The Five Principles of Story Engagement

People with a history of trama are picious of kindness. Why? Because more often than not, the person who abused us was also kind to us. Therefore, our brains have made a linkage between kindness and danger. Engaging someone's story of trama is fraught. It is so fraught there is no way around this. But there is a way through all the shame and tempt that you trigger and the story teller if you have the kindness to stay in it with them.
