The Hopeful End of the Story

Adam Sobel: Do you see us eventually once the system breaks, being able to get back to the type of prosperity we enjoyed for much of the 20th century? Or do you think the future is going to be different and maybe more constrained in the type of growth we can have because of systemic limitations like oil getting more expensive or less resources per capita? Sobel: Some people will come out of this, even if it is a gigantic catastrophe, most of us will not do well. But no, you have to be very live. I urge you to watch peak prosperity and figure this out as there are going to be lots of problems.
