Riti: In India we have a problem with scale. This is fundamentally the reason india never became a manufacturing hub like unotivan, or even like bangla desh right? Now i'm not so sure any more after reading your book,. because is the relevant constraint for scale, emmar tipea type of land clearance? Is it labor? Or is it something completely different that we need to change? Riti: Even if we manage to relax all of this terrible tax regime, there are going to be lodo firms that prefer to be in the shadows and pay no tax. So what's the good way to think about how you can generate investments into an informal economy
