The Sukei and Its Immortality

The idea of soul is a persistent background to western thought even it influences classical liberal theory on the rights of human individuals and stuff like this in law terms which would ourselves as though we have souls. It's had enormous staying power in both cultures even if people don't certainly believe in a soul or think about soul per se. The notion of this bounded inner self is still very much with our history for Christians will simply say no it's the soul of the false self like in the school definition yes but interestingly that has been the last 15 years or so an interesting debate in British identity philosophies.
