Using Games as a Context for Teaching Python?

S i was going to ask you, what is it about puzzles and games that make them really good for teaching? And i think you answer that by saying that puzzles and games are fun and interesting. But i'm still so wondering about downsides. Are there any downsides about using games tles as a context? I've never been enamoured of computer games and doom and all those kinds of things. So i guess i was just thinking about like, games that you could just, like, draw on a piece of paper, or that you would just kind of do in the car - not everyone's interested in games.
