In two thousand one, dolorez vasquez was found guilty of rosio's murder. She' always maintained her innocence, but public opinion had cemented her as a killer. The victims were only two years apart in age and roughly similar heights. Roseo was half dutch, while sonya was swiss. Both had long brown hair that fell below their shoulders, worn in almost idential styles. And both had disappeared while walking home after attending or planning to attend a local fair. Though they had been killed in different ways, they had been beaten. There was no evidence to prove either tin had been sexually assaulted, but both were found naked or partially naked.
