The pursuit of status is like a sort of survival reproduction type thing. The more status we got, the better able we le ta sviv an, reproduce. It's completely connected suroling reproducton. And that's why it's so fundamental and such an obsession. But i've a strong suspicion that our need for status kind of is very high in our teens and twenties. A maybe yoe can have plateaus. I cann hope its to going don 50, 60, seventies. I can hope it does beause it's exhausting.
