Is Hegel a Hegelian?

The main misreading of Hegel has been this idea that we could somehow overcome contradiction through synthesis. Christianity is the main popular version of articulating absolute contradiction, where the absolute beyond gets married to the most humiliated form of finite existence. An absolute knowing is grasping that contradiction is inexorable and that you can't finally get over it. That's what I would say, his main project is, what he's getting at.
