Jack Black plays Bernie Tita in the new film "Bernie" The character is a young gay man who struggles with his sexual identity. He was born and raised in Tyler, Texas but later moves to Abilene for a fresh start. But tragedy strikes again when he experiences traumatic sexual abuse at the hands of an uncle.
