How to Cope With a Sex Addiction
The term 'ex-atix' is thrown around a lot now, but it doesn't fit the bill unless there's a long-standing pattern of compulsivity. Just because somebody has an affair or looks at internet pornography does not make them as ex-atix. And so what is initially a coping strategy that helps that person manage difficult, lonely, sad, terrorized feelings over time becomes who they are and they therefore can't not do what they do. I'm more interested in helping people get out of the snarl there in and move towards a healthier, more life-affirming sexuality.
